- Handling copyright infringement claims for the copyright owner, including service as lead counsel in a successful three-week trial of a copyright infringement case resulting in a $1.4 million verdict in favor of his client, a multi-million dollar settlement prior to trial and several other major settlements after litigation commenced
- Defense of a client sued by a bank on a loan guaranty that resulted in a settlement in which the client not only defeated the guaranty claim, but was paid a substantial settlement in his favor by the bank
- Obtaining an extremely favorable settlement of a claim against an insurance carrier for a major corporate client after several days of trial in federal court
- An active products liability defense practice, including a case in which he secured the disqualification of an expert witness and, as a result, summary judgment in favor of the defendant
- Securing several substantial personal injury awards on behalf of plaintiffs, including a nearly $1 million settlement in a products liability case and a settlement in excess of $1 million in a medical malpractice case
- Successful defense of a construction claim in excess of $1 million against a client that resulted in a settlement in which the claimant gave up its demand entirely
- Obtained substantial jury verdict in federal court in favor of executive discharged in breach of his employment agreement
- Handling insurance coverage disputes on behalf of insureds against insurance carriers refusing to provide a defense or coverage for underling claims
- Second chair in the defense of a death penalty case resulting in consecutive life sentences for the defendant
