Chris Schoen associate

Chris Schoen is a litigation associate at Wyche, P.A., where his practice is focused on First Amendment media defense, intellectual property disputes, False Claims Act cases, and a range of other complex litigation, including shareholder oppression, catastrophic personal injury, and antitrust litigation. His experience in each of these areas is bridged by an interest in the law governing the preservation and use of electronically stored information and evidentiary issues related to digital evidence. Chris also has devoted considerable time to criminal practice on a pro bono basis. He was one of several attorneys who obtained a rare non-guilty verdict in a week-long jury trial of a federal drug conspiracy. He has also assisted in a multi-week evidentiary hearing in a capital post-conviction proceeding and in the defense of state grand jury charges.

Chris has served as a law clerk to The Honorable Bruce Howe Hendricks, United States District Judge in Greenville, SC, and has also served as a law clerk to The Honorable C. Weston Houck, United States District Judge in Charleston, SC.  He has been named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers, and serves on the board of the Federal Bar Association and the Executive Committee of the Greenville County Bar Association.
