On February 18, 2010, Greenville Forward issued a media alert announcing their new Board Chair and new Board Members. Sally Sarratt of McMillan Pazdan Smith was was elected as Chair of the Board of Directors and Wyche attorney Rita Barker was welcomed to the board, along with Ralph Sweeney of Pleasant Valley Connection, Lori Center of Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital Health, and Mary Douglas Hirsch of the City of Greenville Department of Economic Development.
Greenville Forward seeks to enhance the quality of life for greater Greenville by engaging all citizens in continually updating, promoting and facilitating a community vision for 2025 and beyond. By having a group like Greenville Forward, whose sole purpose is to coordinate and communicate the ideas from Vision 2025, the aggressive goals for the region will be kept vibrant, alive and reachable.
