Sarah Sloan Batson, Associate

Sarah represents companies and individuals in a wide variety of commercial disputes. Her practice encompasses several key areas, including contract disputes, franchise litigation, employment litigation and consulting, antitrust litigation, and estate contests. Sarah is involved with the firm's architectural copyright infringement litigation team and often works with the corporate team in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. Sarah enjoys working with colleges and universities in handling litigation in which these institutions are involved; drafting policies and procedures, bylaws, and contracts with employees and vendors; and consulting on compliance with Title IX and other laws.
Sarah brings a keen intellect, creativity, and rigorous discipline to every matter she handles. Sarah takes pride both in her work and in the community. She is a graduate of Furman’s Connections program, which focuses on developing women leaders in the Upstate; she serves on the board of the Downtown Symphony Club; and participates in a variety of legal organizations including the Greenville Young Lawyers and the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division.
